Middle School Art Classes
2D Studio Art 1 and 2 are designed to enable students to learn and apply art techniques with increasing difficulty in order to enhance their creative thinking skills, refine motor skills, and problem solving skills, as well as critiquing skills. Each student has a different skill set as they enter studio art 1 and 2, and each of those skill sets are identified and refined throughout the school year to introduce new techniques, as well as refined previously learned techniques.
3D Studio Art 1 is designed to enable students to learn and apply art techniques with increasing difficulty in order to enhance their creative thinking skills, refine motor skills, and problem solving skills. 3D art introduces materials and techniques that require special safety measures for students to learn and understand, as well as proper use of these materials. By learning and understanding 3D art forms, students can further investigate and visualize different aspects of art perspectives.
