Arrival & Dismissal Information

Arrival

Students may be dropped off on campus starting at 8:05 AM unless they attend before school Dramatic Education.

Student Bell Schedule for Grades K-8: First bell rings at 8:40 am; Tardy bell rings at 8:45 am.

Breakfast is served in the cafeteria from 8:05am until 8:35am at no cost to families.

Students are expected to be in their classroom and ready for the school day at 8:45.

 

Dismissal

Please note: In order to maintain the safety of students and allow staff enough time to make dismissal changes, please ensure that any changes to how your child travels home is shared with teachers or the main office by 12:00 p.m. We understand that unforeseen circumstance may arise, however, we ask all families to plan accordingly.


Dismissal bell is at 3:00pm for Grades K-5 / 3:04pm for MS Mon, Tue, Thurs, Fri; 2:00pm on Wednesdays for all grades.

Car Rider Pickup begins at 3:05pm  Mon, Tue, Thurs, Fri; 2:00pm - Wednesdays.  

Students cannot be signed out early during the last 30 minutes of school. (2:30 Mon, Tue, Thur, Fri; 1:30 Weds)

 

Carline Procedures

  • Morning drop-off is single lane only; afternoon dismissal uses both lanes.
  • Cars enter through Overlake Ave. in the mornings and afternoon, Pershing Ave. gate is only open from 8:45 a.m. to 2:35 p.m. daily
  • Please make sure your car tag is clearly displayed in the afternoon and that your child’s backpack tag is securely attached.
  • We ask families not to arrive for dismissal before 2:35 p.m. (1:30 p.m. on Wednesdays). Clogging roadways or blocking neighbor driveways is not in line with our values so we ask that you use the appropriate options for arrival and dismissal.
    • Please do not park on side streets or the church and walk up to get your student.
  • Additionally, we ask all middle school families not to arrive until 3:04 p.m. (2:00 p.m. on Wednesdays) due to the new middle school end time
