Principal’s Message

Hello Pershing Families,

Welcome to the start of an extraordinary new school year! I am Sanjay Brown the proud principal of Pershing School and I am honored to serve this amazing community. As your principal, my heart is full as we open our doors once again to the energy, laughter, and promise of our incredible students.

Every year brings new beginnings, but this year we stand on a foundation of remarkable transformation. Over the past five years, our school community has shown what is possible when we dream big and work together. Through sheer dedication, hard work, and an unwavering belief in our kids, Pershing School remains an A-rated schools!

This achievement isn’t just a letter grade, it is a story of incredible academic gains made by our students, a dramatic reduction in discipline, and a thriving school culture built on mutual respect and excellence.

Our growth isn't just happening in the classroom; it’s visible all around our campus:

  • Investments in Our Campus: Thanks to the tireless efforts and leadership of our amazing PTSO, we are making big moves—including our brand-new shade structure project that will give our students a safe, comfortable place to play and connect.

  • Investments in Our Classrooms: Through the work of our Pershing School Foundations, every classroom has received a class set of novels along with Math enrichment in the 5th grade.

  • Strengthening Community: We are seeing increased family engagement and we welcome more families to get involved. Our school is stronger because you are in it with us.

  • Safety and Belonging: Above all else, Pershing School is a place of physical and emotional safety. We are deeply committed to ensuring that every single child who walks through our doors feels welcomed, seen, protected, and valued.

This year, our commitment is simple: we will continue to deliver a top-tier academic experience while making sure school is a place where kids can thrive. We believe that rigorous learning and high-energy fun go hand in hand, and we have an unforgettable year of growth and celebration planned for our Panthers.

None of this success happens by accident. It happens because of our phenomenal teachers, our supportive families, and our resilient students. But most importantly, it happens because of the core belief that grounds everything we do.

As we embark on this exciting new chapter together, always remember:

At Pershing School, you are loved cared for and supported... there is nothing you can do about it!

Let’s make this our best year yet!

Go Panthers!
