Pershing Weekly 8/09/26

Students interested in participating in athletics must create an account on Aktivate.com to upload their current OCPS Sports Physical prior to trying out for any team. Students must also have a 2.0 grade point average overall. Coaches will choose students for teams based upon their skill, sportsmanship, character, attitude, commitment, and academic achievement.  All Athletic programs will stress academic success, physical fitness, character development, discipline, and good sportsmanship. Our athletes represent Pershing School and the community.  Student athletes are expected to be student leaders with positive behavior both in competition and in the classroom.

Middle School Soccer, Volleyball , Basketball and Track are offered during the school year for both boys and girls. Students participating in interscholastic sports compete against other middle schools in our learning community.  Participating in interscholastic sports at Pershing is considered a privilege, subject to the approval of the Head Coach, Administration and the Athletics Director.  All students shall abide by the Orange County Public School Code of Student Conduct, Pershing School rules and regulations, as well as the rules and regulations set up by the coach.
